ABOUT
Hello! I’m Anjelica.
I founded Anjelica’s Journey with a fervent mission: to empower individuals to wholeheartedly embrace their true selves and cultivate inner self-love.
As an international adoptee, navigating diverse identities, cultures, and languages has profoundly shaped my understanding of the world. With a passion for gender-based issues, health, and justice, I hold a Bachelor’s in Criminology and a Master’s in International Crime and Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY).
My journey into advocacy began in high school, where I explored the psychological effects of sex trafficking on adolescents in Eastern Europe. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to raising awareness on issues such as domestic violence, LGBTQI+ rights, and reproductive health, particularly through my work at the Women's Center for Gender Justice.
Collaborating with United Nations investigators during my time at the U.N. Office of Internal Oversight Services further fueled my drive for social justice. I also developed training programs for a global consulting firm, linking human trafficking and money laundering.
Today, I harness my voice to kindle positive change in people's lives, inspiring them to embrace and champion authenticity.
